Salem-South Lyon District Library
The Salem-South Lyon District Library is focused on educating, enriching, and empowering their community. More specifically, empowering the community to utilize their library’s services is a goal they strive for on a daily basis.
Any passing traffic will see incredible, eye catching colors that will tell them the date, time, place and custom picture to communicate the message we want to put out there.
Background
Public Libraries have been undergoing a lot of changes over the years and the Salem-South Lyon Community library was no different. The needed a way to interact more with the community that surrounded them.
Analysis
The old library sign was a double sided, letter track sign, that had to be manually updated whenever they wanted to change their messaging.
Objective
The Salem-South District Library wanted to be able to inform the community about the numerous events that they hold every week, engaging with their visitors, and be able to update their sign in real time.
Solution
Electro-Matic Visual took a look at the situation and suggested updating one side of their sign to a full color LED.
Benefits
The library has been able to advertise their events and class offerings, as well as advertise their unique digital library. With their new LED display from Electro-Matic Visual and the ability to have custom content, they are able to interact with their community by rotating through a range of content like weather forecasts, and other community news.
